YOGA REMEDY GRADS CAN RETAKE PART 1 FOR HALF OFF

WHO IS THIS TRAINING FOR?

This training is designed for anyone that teaches a movement modality, and for yoga teachers ready to transition away from teaching vinyasa flow.  The information I share can be applied to any level or style you teach, especially if you’re interested in slowing down and incorporating more yoga therapy into your classes…even your flow classes!  This training is also for teachers and or students wanting to deepen their understanding of the body, gain more knowledge about injuries or special conditions, create a home practice or enhance your teaching skills.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

In this training you will gain a deeper understanding of the anatomy of hips, shoulder girdle and spine. There will be a number of hands-on activities and visuals to help you learn about the muscles and bones. We will spend a lot of time on injury management, so you feel more comfortable working with multiple injuries; either in a class setting or privately. You will learn the Mandala Method, which is my personal method of how to intelligently sequence a therapeutic/gentle style practice, along with the layering technique, which will be extremely beneficial when working with injuries.  If you’ve been craving a gentler and healing approach to yoga, this training just might be what you’re looking for.

• Daily yoga therapy classes focusing on the low back, sciatic, SI joint, psoas, upper back, neck and shoulders.

• Functional movement, mobility work and therapy balls will be incorporated to strengthen joint function, increase range of motion and flexibility.

• Visual and hands-on anatomy lectures

• You will gain more confidence and less fear working with injuries and special conditions

• Explore how to create a safe and inviting space

• Examples of case studies to practice creating sequences

• Tips to help refine your teaching skills to make you a stronger, more compassionate teacher

WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE?

The 2nd edition Yoga Remedy digital manual is filled with over 150 pictures and illustrations of yoga therapy postures and variations for chronic pain, injuries and special conditions. It also includes an injury management guide, anatomy coloring section, teaching tips and the principles of sequencing using my approach, The Mandala Method. I spent 9 months writing the 100-page manual, and the past 3 years adding information, making tweaks and perfecting it. It’s my hope that this labor of love will serve as a great resource when you’re in need of ideas and inspiration for your classes.

You will receive a certificate of completion that you can submit to yoga alliance for continuing education hours. I promise you will leave inspired and excited about integrating yoga therapy into your classes, and your students will be extremely grateful.

I would love the opportunity to work with you and share my 19 years of experience specializing in therapeutics and injury management. If you have more questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at daniibarrayoga@gmail.com

The first testimonial was written by my beloved friend, Jackie Field. She gave me my first yoga teaching opportunity in the Santa Clarita Valley back in 2003. She was loved by so many people in our community and is greatly missed by all. May she rest In peace knowing she will never be forgotten. Thank you Jackie, for all your love and support throughout the years…. I still can’t believe you’re gone.

The most impressive training I’ve done in years! As a YogaWorks Certified Instructor, Post
ReHab Certified Strength Coach and Level 2 & NeuroStrength MELT instructor, this training
gave me incredible insight from the loving and compassionate perspective of yoga. Dani was
incredibly generous with her knowledge and I came away with classes full of material to use
with my regular yoga classes as well as my self care and MELT classes. Her manual is great!
Her knowledge in this field in voluminous but my biggest impression is the love, compassion
and insight she has for people in pain. Her knowledge and ability to modify for people in pain is
very impactful to those in pain, as well as those of us trying to help our students who are in pain. Hoping an encore comes soon!

2018 I took Dani Ibarra’s Yoga Remedy Teacher Training. It was an incredibly powerful experience for me and has opened up a whole new way to work with my own body in my practice as well as with yoga students when I teach. I currently incorporate therapeutic movement and knowledge in every class I teach and even in my personal Ashtanga Practice.

To begin, Dani’s ability to explain the movement of the human body is nothing less than brilliant. In her teaching, she has the ability to convey the human anatomy that makes learning it accessible to every personality and every type of student. I am a visual learner and her system that allows you to see and even feel the attachments of the muscle to bone gave me an expanded understanding of the anatomy.

From her many years of experience, you know that she has developed a unique system that can accommodate any student in a room. I love the way she not only teaches movement but also how to successfully construct and sequence a therapeutic class.

This training has it all, a great manual, powerful visuals, and an amazing teacher!

I just completed four days of Yoga Remedy Training with Dani Ibarra (August 2020). It was a wonderful experience. I learned many different things from her training—body anatomy, pain management, how to safely teach a yoga class and prevent injury, how to teach students who already have injuries, chair yoga, and how to create intelligent yoga class sequencing to name a few. Dani was very knowledgeable, personable, and easy to learn from. Everything she taught me in this training was important to know as a yoga teacher, so I can help my students (especially older adults) get more out of their practice.

I cannot recommend this workshop enough. Thank you Dani.

Yoga Remedy: A Therapeutic Approach to Yoga 25 Hour Online Teacher Training is very good! Dani Ibarra cares about her students and it shows. Each day was full of good instruction, usable information, discussions and practicing. This was the first live stream yoga teacher training I have attended. My teacher training has all been in person at locations with the instructors, and I honestly wasn’t sure how this would be. I have had other training with Dani so I knew she was very good and I didn’t want to miss it. I’m glad I signed up and took this class! Since it was live, if one of us had a question, Dani took the time to answer right then. It was very interactive. While this may seem like it would be chaotic, it really wasn’t. She had others there to help facilitate and it went smoothly. The manual for this class is full of good, useful information and beautifully done! For anyone not sure about therapeutic yoga or maybe considering taking this class, I can attest to how much therapeutic yoga helps. About 9 years ago, I started taking therapeutic yoga classes with Dani. I was recovering from serious injuries requiring multiple surgeries and a long time in physical therapy. I was trying to find something to help me stay physically active and do the things I liked to do, while working with my body’s new challenges. Having a rod in my back, I wasn’t convinced that doing yoga was any longer an option. I signed up for three private sessions with Dani and realized there was something to this, I felt better when I left than when I came in. I decided to give it 30 days and signed up for her therapeutic classes at the yoga studio. It helped so much, I continued and still practice to this day. Dani’s personal experience with her own injuries and recovery, gives her an understanding and compassion for others, along with a heartfelt willingness to share her knowledge and many years of experience. Thank you Dani!
